London Museums

With the rest of the half term holiday still to be enjoyed, we trapesed off to London to explore the museums. Debbi took Aimie and Hannah to explore the wonders of the Victoria & Albert Museum and in particular the costumes collection (the study of fashion and costumes over the last four centuries being one of Debbi's major hobbies).

While the girls explored the V & A, Sam and I jumped train early, and taking the DLR from Greenwich, we headed in to town to explore the London Transport Museum. Sam was particularly excited about getting on the Docklands Light Railway having just received a bumper pack of goodies from London Transport, including a DLR baseball cap. An explore of the Transport Museum, including several interactive features where you could pretend to be a Tube or Bus driver confirmed Sam's long nurtured ambition to become a Tube driver when he grows up.
