Had a great day in all senses celebrating with friends and family the birth of Aimie. We did manage the timing of it to coincide with the Tour de France coming through the Medway Towns (as my sister commented - "can't they read maps in France?"), so our only out of town guests got diverted twenty odd miles out of their way before they got to us towards the end of the service, but all got to enjoy one of Steve senior's marvelous barbecues, ably assisted by Chris Doyle, plus further inestimable catering by Debbi, Fi and Rhena. The kids took over Steve and Fi's caravan and didn't cause too much mess [sorry Steve & Fi! :0( ]

It was also a glorious, sunny warm day, despite all indications to the contrary - this has been a truly soggy summer so far (only hope that August is going to be an improvement, or we'll be spending our camping holiday floating down stream!)
