Today we hit London Zoo as a family, with Steve and Fiona. It is a bit ragged around the edges, and some of the cages are empty and looking well run down, but there is still a certain magic to a zoo, and London Zoo is still quite a spectacle. There were some memorable moments such as watching a gorilla through plate glass as it watched us watching it - one was left wondering who the exhibit was.
Hannah dragged her grandfather off round the reptile house, and was full of questions, while Sam just adored the monkeys, and we all had fun watching the otters, who looked as if they were on something illegal!
Hannah was especially ahppy because she got to see her favoruites - the giraffes!
